Learning Your Identity In Christ
Finding The True meaning of being an Heir
Do You Know Who You Are?
Did you know, you are a King or Queen according to Our Father? Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross? Identity is something so many-myself included-search for. But so often, it’s in the wrong places.
Have you ever struggled with identity? Scripture tells us who we are, according to God and who He is and Who He says we are, let’s look at what it says.
Psalm 139:13: "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb."
Matthew 10:30: "And the very hairs on your head are all numbered."
Romans 8:17: “And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering."
Claiming Your Rightful Place as an Heir
Imagine a literal Kingdom where we get to be on the throne next to Him, at His right hand, did you know it says that? What does this mean? Through Jesus, you gain a lot more than people think.
Ephesians 2:6: "For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus."
Adoption into God's Family: Through Jesus, you become cherished children of God, with all the rights and privileges that come with it.
Close Relationship with God: Believers enjoy intimate friendship with God, knowing you’re accepted and loved unconditionally.
Access to Spiritual Goodies: You have access to all the incredible gifts and blessings God provides, like wisdom, strength, and guidance.
Empowerment by the Holy Spirit: Believers receive the Holy Spirit, who helps you live in a way that honors God and assures them of their heavenly inheritance.
